Instructions to authors

Authors submitting a paper do so on the understanding that the work has not been published before, is not being considered for publication elsewhere. The submission of the manuscript by the authors means that the authors automatically agree to assign exclusive copyright to the Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History if the manuscript is accepted for publication. The work shall not be published elsewhere in any language without the written consent of the publisher. No material may be stored on microform or CD or in electronic databases and the like or reproduced photographically without the prior written consent of the Supreme Council.

Papers should not exceed 15 pages. With the manuscript the author should submit an abstract of approximately 150 words. An English abstract should also be included for Turkish and Russian papers. After the abstract sufficient keywords (3-6 Keywords) should be provided.

MANUSCRIPTS
Manuscripts should be submitted in machine-readable format (CD and e-mail attachment). The software used (Microsoft Word), the program version number, as well as the format of the CD, should be clearly stated.

                                  ILLUSTRATIONS

Photographs and other illustrations can be submitted in TIF (300 dpi minumum). Illustrations should be suitable for publication without further treatment. Statistical data should, if possible, be presented in the form of charts or diagrams, rather than tables.

     

                               REFERENCES

Cited works should be listed at the end of the article arranged alphabetically by author or, in the case of items that have no author, by title. References in the article should be given in parantheses following the referenced texts and should include the author, date of publication and page number, e.g.(Saviger, 1978; 15). The author should ensure that bibliographic details are accurate.
